The DA's Office Reached a Deal...

D. just called me on his way back from City Hall, where he was shooting video from the press conference announcing that the DA's Office had reached a deal with the plaintiffs in the now notorious wrongful termination lawsuit.

Woot.

According to WDSU:

Under the plan announced Tuesday morning, the city will pay $1 million,
while the state will pay $1.6 million, and the district attorney's office will
pay the remaining $300,000.

All the money is expected to be paid out by year's end.
